Overview

Forties Alpha and Delta - LT gas scrubbers and suction scrubbers

Allards International undertook the mechanical design, engineering, expediting, procurement, fabrication and testing of the two LT gas scrubbers, together with the two suction scrubbers - pressure vessels.

These pressure vessels were designed for operation on the Forties Alpha and Delta platforms, operating for Apache North Sea Ltd.

Allards International completed the ship motion and acceleration analysis, mechanical design followed by procurement and fabrication of the four pressure vessels. These were supplied fully painted, ready for installation. Internals were supplied by AKPS.

The company delivered the completed package to Aberdeen. The final weight of LT gas scrubbers was 1600kg and the suction scrubbers 4100kg.
